Assisted taxpayer in the valuation of tax revenue recognition for original issue discount (OID) income. Provided expert testimony in Tax Court on the appropriate method of OID revenue recognition. The case required evaluating complex tax code formulae for revenue recognition and also required the analysis of over 400MM credit card statements.
